City of San Diego

San Diego has the best of both worlds. As the seventh largest city in the nation, it is a culturally diverse, major metropolitan center. Yet San Diego has avoided the sprawl and gloom of other major cities. A pleasant mix of canyons, valleys and mesas allow the city to breathe, giving it that small town feel. San Diegans are very proud of their city. The production community brings tremendous economic benefits to the region.

San Diego offers variety:

• Balboa Park - 1,200 lush acres in an urban setting, museums, galleries, canyons, and a world famous zoo.
• Gaslamp Quarter - Downtown's historic district revitalized to showcase San Diego's Victorian architecture, nightlife and dining.
• Mission Bay - 4,600 acres, world's largest aquatic water park, 27 miles of bay front swimming, power-boating, jetski, fishing, sailing.
• Dozens of spectacular beaches and parks.
